Welcome to the Bude RAT'S Website:

We are a Running and Triathlon club established in November 2008, based in ‘sunny’ Bude. Our main objective is to encourage improvement at all levels of ability, within a fun and friendly environment.

Head to the News page for a round up of the latest race news and results

We have twice weekly organised run sessions, starting from the Pitch & Putt hut (by the cricket ground on Summerleaze Down) at 6.30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Tuesday evenings are devoted to social runs of varying length, with structured coaching on Thursdays by qualified and experienced club members who, between them, provide support for beginners through to those competing in major events.   A specific Junior section also operates on Thursday evenings. Visit our Training Sessions page for more details.

If that’s not enough…. How about getting wet and muddy too?   The Mud Rats ( a few crazy members ) usually go out on a Wednesday and/or Sunday morning to scamper across Bodmin moor or through Stowe woods.   If you’ve not tried this sort of running before and you can run 10k comfortably, then perhaps this could be your next challenge? It comes highly recommended!

Our initial focus has been on developing the running side, however, we already have some experienced Triathletes on board who are further developing the Tri side of our program.   So watch this space!

We hope you find the above information useful.
We’re a friendly bunch and hope you’ll come and join us soon.
