    Tuesday 21st November Bude Surf Club Ali Migliorini from Cooksimplycook will be hosting a Nutrition for Sport Workshop on Tuesday the 21st November @ 6.30pm - 7.30pm - exclusively for RATs Members. Course Highlights include: • Importance of Sports Nutrition • What and how to eat when training • The Balanced Plate • What are the main food sources for energy? • How to create nutrient dense recipes • Essential Store Cupboard Staples Please comment below if you would like to Limited spaces available *maximum 25 people.   • Tuesday 18th July, is our social run

    Lead by Colleen and Nigel. Meet at the surf club 6.20pm for a 6.30pm group run. Visiting The Preston Gate, either The Kings or The Tree in Stratton, then back to The Crooklets Inn. Don’t forget money for a drink! Anyone recovering or injured is welcome to join myself and Claire Strong for a walking version, meeting at the surf club slightly earlier at 6.10pm for a 6.15pm walk which will finish back at Crooklets via The Preston Gate. Pop a comment below if you plan to join us, so we know who to look out for Thursday 20th July, training With Robert (Bob) - Meet and Retreat at Crooklets, 6.20pm for a 6.30pm start.

  • DON’T MISS OUT!

    Later this month we have a very special session in store for our members. Emma Woodcock from Assaya Studio will be running a 'Pilates for runners' hour long session at the Surf Life Saving Club on Thursday the 29th June from 6.30 - 7.30. Best of all this is completely free if you are a current RATs member! She has space for up to 25 mats (please bring your own). Please register your interest by sending an email to info@buderats.co.uk. There will be a waiting list in operation if the session is oversubscribed.

    Great to see so many runners out this weekend. On Saturday Alan Smith, Colleen Finn, Anna Devlin, Andrew Davis took on the super hilly KVK On Sunday Angela BoverPaul Alfred Skipp, Jeremy Brown and Craig Harper ran the An Res Hellys 10mile and Claire Strong, Tommy Trance Pants and I did the Bodmin Beast... We are not the biggest club but we are out there representing...

  • Running Bingo 3.0!

    T'S BACK!! For a two week special Running Bingo is back starting on Monday the 6th March and ending at midnight on Sunday the 19th March. Get your dabbers ready! Try and tick off as many numbers as you can...and post your proof as a comment/post!   • What a busy weekend running

    Congratulation to Nigel Grant in the cornwall marathon - Jane Alex Alexander, Jeremy Brown Ben Rogers Sean Jack Jim Rooney and Fanny Rogers all taking part in the Bideford 10 miler.. great to see so many people entered.. and also to Tommy Trance Pants in coming 3rd in the Dartmoor 100, and Colleen Finn Stuart Colwill and Simon Finn in finishing the Dartmoor 100.... which was not ad advertises as the 100 miles but just over 109.. miles Truly amazing. Did any one else run this weekend? With all this running this in mind we will have 2 groups heading out this Tuesday and A/B Group ( those with a faster pace can loop ) and a C group ***Sunset is at 4.45pm Please do not forget head torches and Hi Viz *** Any one out there who wants to come and run with us but is not sure we do offer 4 free trial sessions in a 8 week period. We have 3 different groups of different speeds. The only thing that we ask is that for the C group you can run 4 1/2 to 5 miles in an hour, you are over 18. (if you are under 18 and want to run please contact the club) Thursday training TBA
